About AalaDoc Health

We are AalaDoc Health, doing business as AalaDoc ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Nepal at Mahalaxmi, Lalitpur, Reg. No: 274548/078/079.

We operate the mobile application "AalaDoc" (the "App"), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the "Legal Terms") (collectively, the "Services").

AalaDoc Health understands how demanding modern life can be, which is why we've built a platform to simplify healthcare access for everyone. By enabling online appointment booking and service discovery, we help users find the healthcare support and resources they need—quickly, securely, and efficiently.

Agreement to Terms

These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and "AalaDoc Health". You agree that by accessing the Services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms.

Formation and Composition

AalaDoc Health shall establish a Managing Committee responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight. The Committee consists of 7 to 9 members, including the CEO, Chief Medical Advisor, CTO, and Finance Officer.

Powers and Responsibilities

• Define and approve strategic plans and digital innovation roadmaps.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and data privacy adherence.
• Oversee platform development and partner integrations.
• Approve budgets and major contractual partnerships.

Decision-Making and Quorum

Decisions are made by consensus or majority vote. A quorum is constituted by the presence of at least 50% plus one of the total Committee members.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to register. Minors may only use the application with the involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Account Responsibility

Users are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials. AalaDoc Health does not guarantee the accuracy of data provided by users and reserves the right to suspend accounts providing fraudulent information.

Consumer Protection

Disputes relating to service deficiency or unfair trade practices shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Consumer Protection Act, 2018 (2075 B.S.).

Service Scope

AalaDoc provides a 10km service radius from City Hall for home collections. All collections are performed by licensed phlebotomists certified under the Health Professionals Council Act, 2053.

User Responsibilities

Users must provide accurate sample collection locations (within 15m radius). Valid ID and informed consent are mandatory. For minors, parental consent is required per the Muluki Civil Code, 2074.

Retention and Records

Electronic medical records are retained for a minimum of five (5) years as required by EMR Directives, 2081.

Cancellation Policy

No cancellation fee applies if cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the start of the doctor's shift. For paid appointments where the practitioner is unavailable, refunds are processed within 5-6 business days.

Default Client (D.C.) Policy

Failing to attend a booked appointment without notice may result in account warnings or temporary booking restrictions to protect healthcare provider schedules.

Emergency Warning

The Services are NOT for emergency use. In a medical emergency, contact an ambulance or visit the nearest ER immediately.
